This game was played by all the MMS 1st year students i.e. 60 students with 10 volunteers to handle the game for a month. This game is basically investing in the stocks on the Index of BSE.
An imaginary amount of Rs. 1 lac was given to the participants . Then they have to invest in the shortlisted companies i.e. 150 companies considering all the sectors. The players will invest in the shares of the listed companies on the closing rate of a day before the transaction i.e. buying & selling. At any point of time the share value should not be come down by 25,000/- Rs. & if it happens the player have to invest more & keep up the value. There should be clear 2 days of transaction i.e. if the player on Tuesday then he can sell off his purchased shares on Friday on the rate of Thursday. As BSE is closed on Saturday & Sunday, but we had our closing on Sunday & Monday.
At the end of every week i.e. Sunday. & Monday. closing days we updated the rates of each company of each player on the rates of Friday & on Monday evening we declare 4 weekly winners & we used to give them a cash prizes to the player who is having his portfolio values the maximum. In this way we had 16 different winners for 4 weeks. All the winners were eligible to play the game till the end.
The other part of the game is the game handler's gave not only the 150 companies to invest in the shares but other options like Mutual Funds, RBI Bonds, NSC , Bullions i.e. Gold & Silver only Company F.D. , Bank F.D. these all can liquidate as when required.
