Infrastructure

The Institute is situated in MGM School of Nursing  building in MGM Education campus with spacious class rooms, practice laboratories and library.

Laboratories

·      Fundamentals of Nursing laboratory : Equipped with all items needed for the practice of nursing procedures by the   students.

·     Community health nursing practice laboratory : Equipped with articles needed to practice community health   nursing procedures in a community setting.

·      Nutrition laboratory : equipped with work tables ,gas stove, vessels ,cutlery, mixer, refrigerator etc.

·      Computer laboratory : equipped with state of art infrastructure

Library

The library being the “heart” of the Institution provide ambient opportunities for the students to study .It has more than 3000  books on various Nursing subjects and related sciences .The library receives a number of professional periodicals too. It also has models and other AV aids to help the students learn better.

 

Clinical Experience:-

·        Multi Specialty  MGM Medical College Hospital, Kamothe with 900 beds provide the student with rich clinical experience.

·        MGM group of hospitals  at CBD Belapur and Vashi.

·        Affiliated hospital for Psychiatric experience

Community Health Nursing Experience

·        Rural Community health nursing experience

Primary health centre  Wavenje give good  opportunity to learn and practice rural health administration

Caring for families, people of different age groups, mother and child etc.

·        They also get an exposure to various National Health Programmes.

·        Urban Community health nursing experience

MGM’s Urban health post at Ranabai Nagar, CBD, Belapur Provides opportunity for learning and practicing urban community health nursing.
