She has conducted dental camps for the HIV affected orphan children at Mukta Jeevan as a part of dental social responsibility and community service along with Lions Club. Dr. Sabita M. Ram is the Dean, Professor & Head of Prosthodontics. She is an eminent teacher with 30 years of academic experience and has been a post graduate guide for 23 years. She is the National Chairperson of the Women’s Wing of the Indian Dental Association. She is the first lady to be President of the prestigious Indian Prosthodontic Society. She is a course writer of the Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi and on the selection board panel of PG.I. University, Chandigarh. She has also served in the Army Dental Corps. To her credit is a technique for impressions in poor mandibular foundation for complete dentures.. She has numerous scientific publications to her credit in national and international journals. She has lectures extensively and been a keynote speaker & moderator. She has undergone training at international centers in various aspects of Prosthodontics. She has a special interest in cleft palate, mutilated dentition and Full mouth rehabilitation has been a topic of her research. She has done courses in Lasers and implantology. She is also on the review committee of the 3 national Journals.
She is a post graduate teacher who has 18 years of teaching experience. She has participated in national and international conferences. She is a member of editorial board for the journal “International Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry”. She has national and international publications to her credit.. she has chaired scientific sessions including 25th IPS Mumbai 28-30th November 1997. She has Chaired the scientific session at 38th Indian Prosthodontic Society Conference at Indore, 12-14th November 2010. She has conducted surveys on important topics such as “An Evaluation of Prosthetic Status and Prosthetic needs amongst people living in and around Panvel ,Navi-mumbai”
She is a post graduate teacher who has 17 years of teaching experience. She is a member of editorial board for the journal “International Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry”. She has national and international publications to her credit. She has chaired scientific sessions at 25th Maharashtra state dental conference as judge held from November 6-9 2008 and 38th Indian Prosthodontic society conference at Indore, 12-14th November 2010. She has done research on “An Evaluation of optimum time period required for adequate Gingival Retraction with respect to epinephrine impregnated gingival retraction cord – a clinical study”
He is in teaching since 1966 Yr from GDC in 1999 who has 40 years of teaching experience. He has established (Dean) BDS courses at D.Y. Patil Dental College and Y.M.T. Dental College. He has been a post graduate teacher at G.D.C.Mumbai, Nagpur. He has been guide for 11 pg students. He was the Prosthodontist at plastic Surgery unit of St. George Hospital; 1976-1978. He had been the secretary, Prosthodontic Club, G.D.C.Mumbai, 1966-1968 and G.D.C.Mumbai Alumni Association, 1990-1999.

She has done research on ‘Influence of Porcelain thickness and repeated firing on the colour of metal ceramic restoration: an invitro study’. She has national and international publications to her credit. She has presented many posters and papers at various conferences on important topics including one on ‘Speech Aid Prosthesis’ at 8th pg convention in Pondicherry.
She is a under graduate teacher who has 3 years of teaching experience. she has done research on ‘comparison of tensile strength of self cure acrylic resin using reinforcements for repair.’ She has International Publication on ‘Prosthodontics Rehabilitation of patients with Combination Syndrome’. She has presented many posters and papers at various conferences. She has even won Best Paper Prize – paper presentation in 9th National Pg Convention, Wardha 2007.

She has done research on “A Comparative Evaluation of Tensile Bond Strength between Root Dentin and Fiber reinforced composite post using three commercially available dual cure resin luting agents- an in vitro study”. He is an under graduate teacher who has 2 years of teaching experience. He has done two years certified fellowship in Dental and Prosthetic Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, (under Homi Bhabha National Institute). He has national and international publications and presentations to his credit. The important ones are “Man In Lab- Role Of Dental Technician In Oncology”- presented at ISMR International Congress on Maxillofacial Rehabilitation May-19-22, 2010 Sestri Levante, Italy and “Prospective Study To Evaluate Quality Of Life And Improvement In Speech With And Without Maxillary Prosthesis In Patients With Maxillectomy” presented at MASCC/ISOO 2011 International Symposium - Multinational Association Of Supportive Care In Cancer June 23-25, 2011 Athens, Greece. His case presentation “Rehabilitation of maxillectomy with orbital resection with composite prosthesis” was shortlisted for ‘MENA Awards for Aesthetic Dentistry 2011’ in the category of ‘Best Charity Treated Case of the Year 2011’ at Annual CAPPMEA meeting Dubai, UAE. He is involved in various research projects focusing dental rehabilitation and quality of life of cancer patients.
He is an under graduate teacher with 9 years of academic and clinical experience in general dentistry. He did his B.D.S from G.D.C Mumbai 2001 and was Mumbai University Topper at first B.D.S and was an IDA Scholarship Winner. He was a gold medalist in the subject of Dental Materials at first BDS university exam. He has conducted dental camps for the HIV affected orphan children at Mukta Jeevan as a part of dental social responsibility and community service along with Lions Club.

He is Trained in Tobacco Cessation services from NIMHANS Center, Bangalore and a certified TII Consultant from Indian Dental Association. He is in charge of TII Center, MGM Dental College. He is the Cultural in charge of student’s council since last 6 years and representative of IDA for MGM Dental College. He is the course coordinator and examiner of Dental Technology Course (MSBTE) MGM Engineering College.
